Description
Vintage 2-faced salt and pepper shakers featuring a man and woman with Happy and Grumpy expressions. These ceramic novelties were made in Japan and feature a charming mid-century aesthetic with hand-painted details, gold-tone accents, and a glossy finish. The man is dressed in blue trousers with suspenders and a bowler hat, while the woman wears a pink skirt and has her hair in a bun. One side shows them smiling broadly, while the reverse displays a comical frown and angry eyebrows. Perfect for collectors of kitschy kitchenware or anthropomorphic ceramics.
