A commemorative first solo album, Ifunke, by the late Umeko Ando, a Hokkaido Ainu music traditionalist who is gaining renewed international recognition, primarily through reissues and remixes from Germany's PINGPUNG. This masterpiece of modern Ainu traditional music features the poetic gem Battaki (A Swarm of Grasshoppers), released in 2000. Now, it's being released on 12-inch vinyl by VOLKUTA, the Japanese label behind Ikue Asazaki's Yoisura Bushi release, featuring a highly anticipated second release with a grand remix by Joe Claussell. Truly wonderful.

The jacket has some minor wrinkles, but both the jacket and the record are in beautiful condition.
For those who understand used records.
No claims or returns, please.
