Description
This is a magatama (comma-shaped bead) made from white jadeite mined in the Himekawa River, Itoigawa. It was sold as Gyoro-me Magatama (Bulging Eye Magatama) at The Stones Bazaar, but it is a rare stone that is quite pure white, and it is currently sold out. It is said to have protective powers. It is also listed on the Itoigawa Jadeite product page, but please note that this magatama is not jadeite!
